The International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code is an amendment to the International Convention of Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) on minimum security arrangements required for ships, ports and government agencies, which came into force in 2004.

The ISPS Code prescribes responsibilities to governments, shipping companies, ship’s personnel, and port/facility staff to “detect security threats and take preventative measures against security incidents affecting ships or port facilities used in international trade.”

We generate concise and accurate reports identifying non-conformities, observations and noteworthy remarks. Our aim is to assist our clients to remove non-conformities and provide pragmatic solutions to compliance issues.

Our clients often choose to combine the Internal ISPS Audit with an Internal ISM Audit, conducted at the same time. Please contact us to discuss your particular requirements.
