This 1-day Helicopter Underwater Escape Training with CA-EBS Training (OPITO) course is designed for personnel travelling over water by rotary wind aircraft where requirements exist for this emergency training with compressed air emergency breathing systems (CAEBS).
Most offshore oil and gas installations, wind farm and vessel operators require their employees, contractors and, in some cases, even visitors to undertake training prior to travelling offshore as a minimum.
The training covers the requirements for areas of offshore activities where compressed air emergency breathing systems (CAEBS) are in use which meets mandatory or company specific training requirements with this safety equipment.
The training programme is fully approved by OPITO with supporting certification and accredited to the Vantage database upon successful completion. The certificate is valid for four years from the date of issue.
NOTE:
CAEBS training is included in the main offshore safety training course BOSIET with CAEBS and Escape Chute Training.
