A study guide option for independent preparation ahead of the Marine Engine Operator Licence (Yacht) MCA Oral examination. In addition, it may be possible (subject to staff availability) to arrange direct lecturer coaching on a private basis, during which questioning will take place that is tailored towards the student’s needs.
Candidates must also hold STCW certificates in ‘Medical First Aid’, ‘Advanced Fire Fighting’ and ‘Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats’ before taking their MCA Oral exam. If not already held, these courses can be undertaken outside of the main course.
