Part A 9.1 of the ISPS Code requires applicable vessels to hold an approved Ship Security Plan (SSP), developed to implement effective security management on ships, making provisions for the three security levels defined in the Code.

Ship Security Plan

The International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code is an amendment to the International Convention of Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS on minimum security arrangements required for ships, ports and government agencies, which came into force in 2004.

Our team of experienced and qualified ISPS surveyors can conduct ship-specific On Scene Security Surveys (OSSS) and Ship Security Assessments (SSA), before developing associated compliant Ship Security Plans (SSP) on behalf of our clients.
