Continuing Professional Development Courses for United Offshore Support

Southampton, UK – 9th June 2023 – Azimuth Nautical Solutions has this week delivered two continuing professional development courses for United Offshore Support GmbH (UOS), in support of the company’s ongoing commitment to the advancement of its wider management team.

Designed and delivered by our specialist management consultant, Mike Symons, a 3-day Marine Casualty Investigation (MCI) course was provided to the delegate group at the company’s head office in Leer, Germany.

This interactive course was aligned with the company’s own emergency procedures to enhance its relevance and included such key elements as managing investigations, collection and analysis of evidence, witness statements, developing recommendations, and MCI reports.  Various practical workshop exercises were also used to reinforce the course learning outcomes.

In addition, a 1-day Emergency Response Team Leader training course was also delivered to develop awareness of associated issues and responsibilities before being put into practice through a full afternoon of desktop exercises linked to company priorities.
