Liz Baugh

Lead Medical Consultant

Liz Baugh

Liz Baugh has worked in the maritime industry for over 17 years. After starting her career in the Royal Navy, she completed her medical training at the Royal Hospital Haslar in Gosport before serving aboard frigates and destroyers. Liz also spent time with the Royal Marines and worked as the Designated Person Ashore (Medical), looking after ships with no medical staff.

After leaving the Royal Navy, Liz completed her Offshore Medics qualification, enabling her to work within the Oil and Gas sector. Moving on to training and consulting, she has been able to pursue her passion for helping others to become more confident with their first aid and medical skills.

Having extensive hands on experience, from initial response to medical evacuation and co-ordinating repatriations, means that her focus is very much on the whole process rather than just the medical aspects.
