Azimuth launches its new consultancy and training portfolio

Southampton, UK – 10 January 2018 – Azimuth Nautical Solutions Ltd. today announces the launch of its new portfolio of maritime consultancy and training services, collaborating with a group of distinguished partners to provide a full-service solution for industry clients.

In partnership with Chiltern Maritime (in Southampton), Clyde Marine Training and Clyde Training Solutions (in Glasgow), Ship Safe Training Group (in Rochester) and Viking Recruitment and its Maritime Skills Academy (in Dover), the collaboration provides comprehensive maritime education and training across the UK, and the capability to deliver courses worldwide, both ashore and aboard vessels.

A new website (www.azimuthnautical.com) showcases the services offered by Azimuth Nautical Solutions and its partners, in three key sections:

  • Consultancy: Azimuth’s ship management consultants provide an extensive range of consultancy services to vessels, ports and operating companies, including evaluation of emergency readiness, compliance audit services, gap analysis, project management, Port Marine Safety Code (PMSC) and Safety Management System (SMS) development.
  • Training: All-encompassing coverage from entry level courses through mandatory Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation (OPITO) provision to management-level programmes and continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities, such as specialist ship handling, Lead Auditor and Designated Person Ashore certification.
  • Services: A variety of support services such as officer cadet and crew management, technical support, navigational products, marine travel and uniform supply.
