This 4-day Proficiency in Medical First Aid (STCW) course is for seafarers designated to provide first aid on board ship and those needing certificates of competency. The level of knowledge gained will be sufficient to enable the seafarer to take immediate action in the case of injury or illness.
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a Proficiency in Medical First Aid certificate.
This course also includes Automated External Defibrillation training and a separate certificate for this is issued to successful students.
